Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Xentrop website, downloading the Android client, purchasing or subscribing to paid services, joining an approved deployment scope, or using Xentrop software, relay services, or related deployment support ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service or make a purchase.

If you purchase on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Payment Terms

Paid Xentrop services may include paid pilots, setup and deployment fees, private or dedicated relay deployments, recurring service fees, and related support. Pricing, scope, and billing frequency are shown at checkout, on an invoice, or in a signed agreement before payment.

  • Payments are processed by Terraflock Private Limited through approved payment providers (including Stripe India where applicable). Card and UPI timelines may also follow your bank or payment provider's rules.
  • Unless stated otherwise on the invoice or agreement, fees are quoted and payable in Indian Rupees (INR) for India-based buyers. Applicable taxes, including GST where required, are added at checkout or on the invoice.
  • One-time fees (setup, deployment, onboarding) are due as stated on the invoice. Recurring fees are billed in advance for the stated period (for example monthly or annual) unless a signed agreement defines a different schedule.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate billing and tax details. Failed or reversed payments may suspend provisioning until payment is completed.
  • Refunds and credits are governed by our Refund Policy. Where a signed agreement conflicts with website payment or refund terms, the signed agreement controls for that buyer.

Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data Terraflock Private Limited and Xentrop relay infrastructure may process, server-blind boundaries, residual metadata limits, and how to contact us for privacy inquiries. By using the Service, you also agree to the Privacy Policy as incorporated into these Terms.

Description of Service

Xentrop is private communication infrastructure with a server-blind coordination boundary. Relay infrastructure moves opaque encrypted coordination events and is not trusted with plaintext content, a hosted contact graph, plaintext type, or recovery authority.

Xentrop may include Android client software, website download channels, private environment onboarding, dedicated relay deployments, documentation, support, and operational services defined for an access scope or deployment.

Access And Platform Scope

The current public release channel is controlled Android access for approved users. Buyer rollouts should define device models, OS versions, notification settings, support owner, success criteria, and known limitations before onboarding.

iOS and broader platform rollout are staged and are not claimed as production-equivalent until the relevant APNs, CallKit, notification, audio lifecycle, outbox/retry, crash recovery, and physical-device testing are certified for the intended scope.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not use the Service for illegal activities
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service
  • Not abuse, harass, or harm other users
  • Safeguard your devices, credentials, and .xbk backups
  • Install Xentrop only from official or approved deployment channels
  • Keep your operating system, notification settings, and device security posture appropriate for your risk model

Account Continuity And Recovery

Account continuity is user-owned. Encrypted .xbk backup and old-device transfer can preserve identity, profile, contacts, conversations, messages, calls, and environment configuration without making Xentrop a server-side recovery authority.

You are responsible for storing .xbk backups and backup passwords securely. If you lose both your backup and old device, Xentrop cannot recover the account for you.

Security And Metadata Boundaries

Xentrop reduces what relay infrastructure can know, but it does not eliminate all metadata. Relay and network observers may still see IP connection timing, opaque mailbox access, blob size, traffic volume, push timing where push is used, service health events, and call transport timing or cadence.

Xentrop does not protect plaintext after a trusted endpoint is compromised, rooted, unlocked by an attacker, or controlled by a malicious user. Endpoint security remains part of your operating model.

Reliability And Availability Boundaries

Xentrop's delivery invariant is that a send should resolve to delivered, durably queued for retry, or explicitly failed. This is a design target and evidence standard, not a guarantee that every mobile OS, carrier, push provider, or OEM battery mode always wakes instantly.

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, observed relay continuity, deployment operation, support response, and uptime are not formal service-level agreements.

Disclaimers And Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost data, lost messages, account loss, service interruptions, device behavior, carrier behavior, push provider behavior, or security incidents outside Xentrop's control.

Xentrop is not an emergency communication service. Do not rely on it for emergency calls, life-safety communications, or any use where delayed or failed delivery could create immediate physical harm.

Intellectual Property

The Xentrop name, logo, and all related intellectual property are owned by Terraflock Private Limited. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or website.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bihar, India.
